Welcome Home, Brother

There are moments in our spiritual journey that transcend words. Moments that are less about receiving new information and more about recognising a truth that has quietly waited beneath the surface all along. Today was one of those moments.
During trance, my guide Atian brought through a message that pierced straight to my heart:
"And there are many that have incarnated on this planet, whose job it is to help you forget that immense magnificence. But they will not win. For you cannot snuff out an eternal flame."
I have channelled thousands of words over the years, yet every so often a message arrives that seems destined not only for those who read or hear it, but for the one through whom it is spoken. This was one of those messages.
When the trance ended, I found myself once again beside the familiar campfire in the forest where Atian and I have met countless times in Spirit. It is a place of peace, honesty and unconditional love — a sacred space beyond the distractions of the physical world.
This time was different. Without ceremony, Atian stepped forward and embraced me. He smiled and quietly whispered,
"Welcome home, brother."
Those words moved through every part of my being. He was not welcoming me home because I had been abandoned, nor because he had ever been absent. Spirit has never left my side.
He was welcoming me home to myself.
The embrace symbolised something far deeper than reunion. It marked the end of a long season of releasing, purging and surrendering. Years of peeling away identities, expectations, fears and inherited beliefs that had slowly concealed the person I came here to be.
For so much of life, we search for purpose, belonging and acceptance somewhere outside ourselves. We believe we must become more, achieve more, heal more or prove ourselves worthy. Yet perhaps the soul has always whispered something entirely different.
Remember…
Remember the light you carried before the world told you to dim it. Remember the love that existed before fear convinced you it had conditions. Remember the magnificence that has never needed to be earned.
There will always be voices, circumstances and experiences that invite us to forget who we truly are. Some will do so consciously. Many unconsciously. But none possess the power to extinguish what is eternal. The flame of the soul cannot be destroyed.
It can be hidden beneath grief. Covered by shame. Obscured by disappointment. Forgotten for a time. But it can never be extinguished.
Today, I didn't receive permission to become someone new. I simply received confirmation that I had finally stopped pretending to be anyone else. And perhaps that is what coming home truly means.
If these words find you at a crossroads in your own life, I hope they remind you of something your soul has always known.
No matter how lost you have felt...
No matter how much life has asked of you...
No matter how dim your light may seem...
You carry an eternal flame.
And one day, whether through silence, surrender, joy or tears, you too may hear those beautiful words whispered from Spirit...
"Welcome home, brother."
Or perhaps...
"Welcome home, sister."
