What AI, spirituality and human judgement are really revealing
Recently I shared a post about relaunching my spiritual development course - something I’ve poured decades of lived experience, study, compassion, humour and heart into.
Interestingly, I received feedback from a few people who felt uncertain or disconnected because I used AI to help create part of the post.
And honestly, I understand it.
AI is triggering a lot of questions right now about authenticity, creativity and trust. These are important conversations to have. But it also made me reflect on how quickly we can sometimes form conclusions from one small snapshot, without exploring the fuller picture behind the work itself.
A single post can never hold the depth of what I offer through my writing, videos, lived experience, or the many people I’ve had the privilege of supporting over the years.
And the truth is, AI is simply a tool. What matters to me is the intention, integrity and consciousness behind how any tool is used.
AI is not going away. And personally, I believe Spirit can use anything to communicate with us… a feather on our path, a song on the radio at the perfect moment, or a number plate catching our eye with repeating angel numbers.
What matters is not the medium, but the awareness, discernment and meaning we bring to the experience.
Discernment has always been part of the spiritual path. Every generation encounters new tools, new ideas and new fears. The invitation is not to blindly reject or blindly embrace them, but to remain conscious in how we engage. To question. To feel. To stay connected to our own inner knowing rather than reacting purely from fear, projection or assumption.
No technology can manufacture genuine presence, wisdom, compassion or lived experience. Those things are earned over time.
Ironically, this experience became a beautiful little lesson in itself… about triggers, perception, projection, discernment and staying grounded in your own integrity even when others question it.
And perhaps that’s part of the deeper work too.
My course won’t be for everyone, nor should it be. But for those who resonate with grounded spirituality, honest conversations, less fluff and more authenticity (with a few cosmic chuckles along the way), I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
Namaste.
